Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress, known for the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. Her career began in the late 1980s, and rose to popularity with her role in the film Tezaab where she starred alongside an established actor Anil Kapoor. In the following film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared as well. Born into a middle-class family in Mumbai she started learning dance from a very young age. In her early years, as she began acting as a young actor, the majority of films she created weren't successful. She found fame and became one of the top film actresses. The marriage of her mother led to an interruption from her acting career. The actress returned in later years. Dixit played an important role as a lead actress in Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit was awarded fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which eight she won. Padma Shri - the fourth most highly regarded civilian award in India - was given to Dixit. She has also been recognized by the field of social work.
